The law firm of SAIDEL & SAIDEL, P.C. is a professional corporation that has been in existence since February 1, 2005. It maintains its office at 3565 Crompond Road, P.O. Box 308, Yorktown Heights N.Y. 10598.  The firm presently consists of Marc L. Saidel, Sheryl M. Saidel, one “of counsel” attorney, and two legal assistants. The firm practice areas are primarily in the fields of real property law; counseling condominiums, co-operatives and HOA’s; wills, trusts, and estates; commercial transactions; and commercial litigation.

Marc L. Saidel has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, he received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University, and he was admitted to practice in New York in 1972.  Upon graduation from college he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.  After completing his active duty service, he worked as a litigator in the personal injury field, and then opened a general practice in Shrub Oak (Town of Yorktown) in 1975. From 1978 to 1985 he continued a general practice in a partnership with another attorney, returning to solo practice in June 1985.  On January 1, 1992, he became a partner in SAIDEL & SAIDEL, which later became incorporated.  He is a member of the Yorktown, Westchester County and New York State Bar Associations.  From 1980 to 2002, he taught NY State real estate licensing courses to prospective salespersons and brokers through the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Northern Westchester and Putnam counties. He has served as an arbitrator for the court system and for the American Arbitration Association. He has served as a mediator of attorney-client disputes, and he currently serves as an arbitrator of attorney - client fee disputes in the Ninth Judicial District.

Mr. Saidel‘s practice includes:  real estate transactions involving single and multi-family residences, cooperatives, condominiums, and commercial properties; loan transactions and mortgage closings; foreclosures of mortgages and other liens, and related workouts; corporate and business transactions and counseling; representing and advising the Boards of condominiums, co-operative corporations, and homeowners' associations; and commercial litigation.  He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and in the Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Sheryl M. Saidel has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Education. In 1985 she became legal assistant and office administrator in Mr. Saidel's solo practice. She graduated Cum Laude from Pace University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in June 1991 and was  admitted to practice in both New York and Connecticut. In September 1991, she became a full time attorney upon her admission to the bar and became a partner in SAIDEL & SAIDEL on January 1, 1992. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Yorktown Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, and the Westchester Women's Bar Association.  She is currently retired from practice in Connecticut but continues to practice in New York.  Since 1993 she has served as Pro Bono corporate counsel for the Mother Connection of Cortlandt, Inc., a not-for-profit provider of after school services for area families.
Mrs. Saidel’s practice includes: real estate transactions involving single and multi-family residences, vacant land, cooperatives, condominiums and commercial properties; mortgage closings; advising condominium boards and homeowners' associations; drafting and filing of Amendments to Condominium Offering Plans and Declarations; estate planning including the preparation of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents; probate and settlement of estates; and other areas of general practice.

The Office is equipped with modern high speed computers, facsimile and copying equipment and a moderate-size legal library that includes texts on real estate and financing matters, estate planning and probate matters, statutes, forms, taxes, etc. It is conveniently located and easily accessible, and we have spacious closing facilities.
